Years after the events of Talon's particle accelerator theft, Overwatch was disbanded by a committee headed by Defence Minister Rushmore. To all, it seemed the world no longer needed outdated programs like the Overwatch Initiative. But they were wrong, and because of it, hundreds died. The Recall Protocol was put into effect, and Overwatch's ranks were filled back up. And yet this still was not enough to deter the still-growing threats which the UN had left unchecked for so long. And so, the new cadets and the war-grizzled veterans' adventures had begun once more.
