This story is inspired by many other works and may bear some resemblance in certain places. However, I will endeavor to make this story it's own. 2 years ago monsters were released from the underground, ending their centuries-long imprisonment at the hands of ancient humans. "Psychotic tendencies..." As a child, Y/n L/n had a good life. She was always complimented for her h/c hair and e/c eyes. She had a loving little sister and a caring mom and good friends. So, if she had the perfect life, why did she throw herself into Mt. Ebott? When Y/n awoke in the Underground she immediately noticed how much nicer the monster's are. They all brought a smile to her face and she felt at home. Toriel was always a mom to her, Sans and Papyrus were brother's, and Frisk was her best friend. She couldn't have ever wanted more. So, why did she kill all of them? Her and Chara had killed everyone more times than countable together. Chara was happy they found someone they could connect with, and Y/n was happy someone accepted the fact that she was a killer. They got along perfectly, the best of friends! Murders, of course, but still best friends. And they were always just friends. Right?Complete

She (Canonically she is gender neutral but for the sake of the fanfic they will be known as a she) befriended the entire underground by freeing them from a seemingly eternal spell that trapped them down there for many years. Though to get there Frisk had to sacrifice a friend (Asriel) and from that day on frisk just couldn't get the fact that she couldn't save someone out of her head. She can be referred as they/them so no gender war comments, please. Just respect my vision for my story. Chara will be male. His age appears around Frisk's but he's spiritually older. Monsters tend to age slower than humans in this AU. This is a fanwork. If you think Sans x Frisk is cringy, I treat it as Beauty and the Beast so think of it in that mindset. Frisk became the ambassador of the monsters, it all worked out perfectly well. But little did they know that, someone was watching them fight, or to be exact, mercy all of the monsters. They were so thrilled by Frisks determination, their will to live came back, and their soul finally collided with their dead, cold body. Undertale; Consequences of your actions.
Chara. The demon that comes when people call it's name. The title given to her by everyone that blamed her for the genocides. For what Frisk did just because they wanted to see what would happen. Because they refused to own up to their actions, and instead blamed the only person who could realistically be blamed. Chara. The human, who, despite her flaws, still tried to be a good person. She was forced into this endless cycle of murder and animosity against her will. She never wanted any part in this. Frisk, blaming Chara for their own atrocities, believes her to finally have given up. They think they are above consequences because its a game to them, that they will always win... Soon they will learn that they can't run away from them forever. Soon, the darkest pit of hell will open and swallow them whole. -All characters in this story are NOT mine except for one, she is my character. And she is not, I repeat, NOT a self insert. She is meant to be a dark mirror of Chara in a lot of ways, but similar to her in many more aspects. The others belong to Toby fox, the original owner of Undertale, as well as to Temmie Chang(hope I spelled it right.) This exists because I feel like too many people blamed Chara for our own actions. Because that was easier than to admit that genocide was a path that we chose of our own volition. This was especially true in the earlier years of the fandom, and is still true even today-to an extent. Due to that, and my combined love of the character, I just knew it was worth writing a happy ending for them, or in this story as I interpret Chara to be female. I know that they are in the cannon of Undertale, non-binary or genderless, but this a is fanfiction. I wrote the rules, I'm the "God" here. If you don't like that, then leave.
