Instead Elena somehow got lost into the Foster care system and was treated badly but that was up until she met a certain tall, dark haired Lightwood that totally swept her off her feet. She soon moved into the institute and finally understood what it meant to be an actual Shadowhunter. But when Alec and her became parabatai and Elena learned that they couldn't be together, she ran for the hills but what happens when she reunites with her parabatai and her long lost sister? Will old feelings get stirred up again? Or will she pack them away for good this time?
