When the Moon Rises

Kate and Jenna Strong are both best friends and half sisters. They live quite normally in the city of San Diego, California... except not quite. Kate is constantly being invaded my weird words in an unknown language, and dreams that warn her that a monster is about to take her sister. She doesn't know what to think, until the monster actually does kidnap Jenna at a high school beach party. Along with learning the secrets of the new world they have been thrown in to, they also must solve the mystery of a prophecy that somehow involves them. They've both been changed, and now, it's time to face the monster that threatens their lives. But that may be harder that they thought, especially since he's not alone.
