Alex Morgan was a 16 year old with a great life. Great parents, great friends, great everything. But when her mother gets a call at 3 am in the morning from her best friend's mother, life as she knows it changes for the absolute worst.
The story takes place in Mosselbay, South Africa. It is also based on a true story in a way.

Alex is a fifteen year old boy who had the worst luck in life. He'd witnessed his parents deaths, he was bounced from foster home to foster home, but this was the last time. His torture was their entertainment. His pain was what they thrived on. Then it went way too far, and he ran.
