(Cover art is by Rosequartz on Instagram. Please go check them out! They are an amazing artist!) In a different world, Where the crystal gems (plus jasper, astonishingly ) have decided that perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to have children. Pearl thought, that if Rose has enjoyed it, it must have been worth it to sacrifice herself. Amethyst only thought it would be fun. Don't ask me what Ruby and Sapphire did still working on that! Jasper basically said: 'screw it' and did it too. ((Sorry If you ship certain gems together, like how ruby and sapphire are together, I just thought that this was a neat concept)) Also, Steven is forced to watch after them!

The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. His anger now only grows, seeing that his mother, who he once looked up too, was nothing more than a coward, a murderer, and a liar. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her. Pearl doesn't realize, though, that she will set off a chain of events that nobody could've predicted, starting with her 'baby' going back to when it all began. Disclaimer: I do not own Steven Universe or it's characters.
