It all started when Randy was bitten on the ass...

On a ski trip with her best friend Randy, Marissa thought things couldn't get any more boring. Little did she know that when she let her friend follow that weird lady into a cave her wish for adventure would come true. With her friend shifting, there has to be someone that can help, right?

A war between two packs has been brewing for years. With one pack believing that there should only be one creature per pack and the other believing that it didn't matter what creature you shifted into, a pack was family. An all out battle was bound to happen at some point. It's just unlucky that Marissa and Randy both stumble into it.

But now they're part of the fight, what lengths will each pack go to show that they're right? And what lengths will a mate go to keep the one they love?

That's insane, or so Brinley had once thought. Brinley Zora, your normal everyday 24 year old video game streamer. She was normal, in every possible sense of the word, or at least she used to be before strange dreams and occurrences started happening to her on a regular basis. Secrets, death, twists and turns, impending doom. All of it to be discovered after shes told her families history. Friendships bonded over generations. Bonded by unseen other worldly forces. Let me be straight up and say, this is extremely unedited. I wrote this in the notepad on my phone a couple years ago when I was in an entirely different place in my life. Sarah Aspen was 18 when her tribe, the Amara Tribe, was attacked by Werewolves. Her tribe was right outside of Austin, Texas... Right where the West Mountain pack was located. Little did they know, the attack had been planned for years. Sarah is a Shifter, a leopard, and is Alpha strong. All of the shifters were. The two packs of Werewolves had come together and wiped out all of their kind, they hated Shifters with a passion. All but Sarah, who happened to slip away. After a few days of hiding in the wilderness, she headed for the city where she could find family members. She had no idea just how far the Wolves had gone. They took over cities, turned the strongest of the humans, and wiped out the weak human race. The cities are no longer used, they were just left for grass to engulf the worthless buildings. She makes the choice to hide. To turn Rouge. She runs, fights, and stays alive. Until one day she decides to return to the city, one of the most unsafe places there are. When she runs into a pair of Wolves, everything changes. (This story has been edited.)

Willow's had to fight to get to where she is now. She doesn't need anyone telling her what to do or how to do it. Her life is perfect the way it is, but it's near impossible for her to fulfill her wants of keeping her independent lifestyle. For starters, Willow isn't even human; she's a Volpe (fox-shifter), but being a Volpe is more complicated than simply being able to shift into a fox. For thousands of years, there were only humans and for those thousands of years, they killed each other over the color of their skin. But that was then. Now shifters are an everyday part of life and no one cares about the color of a person's skin: it's their species, and it's even worse than it was between humans and the levels of melanin in their skin. Volpes are the most hated of all the species. Supposedly cunning and deceitful to many, they are discriminated against and viewed as nuisances. Lupos (wolf-shifters) hate them most of all, with Volpes returning the favor. Lupos - with their powerful packs and Alphas throughout the world - have the obvious social advantage over Volpes, but that doesn't stop the world from turning and the natural course of events to happen. Every shifter will eventually find and bond to a person who compliments them in every sense for no other reason than a cruel twist of their reproductive biology. With little to no conscious decision as to who their "mate" will be, two shifters - two strangers - are forced together, their fates forever intertwined because of a chance encounter. To many, this is seen as a blessing, but to Willow, a so-called "soul-mate" is the farthest thing from her mind. Will the sparks fly or will the fists fly when she realizes that a member of the very species she resents so passionately is her mate? How can a Lupo ever be with a Volpe when all they see each other as are the harmful stereotypes of their species?
