It all started when Randy was bitten on the ass...

On a ski trip with her best friend Randy, Marissa thought things couldn't get any more boring. Little did she know that when she let her friend follow that weird lady into a cave her wish for adventure would come true. With her friend shifting, there has to be someone that can help, right?

A war between two packs has been brewing for years. With one pack believing that there should only be one creature per pack and the other believing that it didn't matter what creature you shifted into, a pack was family. An all out battle was bound to happen at some point. It's just unlucky that Marissa and Randy both stumble into it.

But now they're part of the fight, what lengths will each pack go to show that they're right? And what lengths will a mate go to keep the one they love?

Alchemy has always been a key to understanding the universe, yet it has often been dismissed as mere superstition. The truth seared through my veins like scorching heat, igniting every cell of my being with a searing, uncompromising judgment. I sacrificed everything-my strength and sense of identity-chasing after an overwhelming purpose. Duty and conviction waged a war against a primal yearning for freedom, unleashing a maelstrom of emotions that threatened to tear me apart. This internal hell fueled an insatiable, maddening lust for vengeance, obliterating my moral compass and propelling me toward utter destruction. Only when I made a final decision did the fundamental principles of morality seem to slip through my fingers like grains of sand. Each savage blow against the oppressive system left me questioning: am I a righteous crusader, or a monster consumed by hatred? The poisonous doubt gnawed at my mind, suffocating my thoughts with insidious whispers. Yet, I found the strength to silence them. With fierce determination burning in my veins, I vowed to break free from the chains of oppression or die trying. Fear would not hold me captive any longer. As I teetered on the edge of life and death, I couldn't help but wonder: would I emerge victorious or succumb to the relentless wheels of fate? The answer lies shrouded in the mists of an uncertain future, but one thing is irrefutable: win or lose, every decision will ignite an inferno of change. This cataclysmic revolution will raze the old world and herald the birth of a new era. In this cosmic roulette, even the most steadfast warriors can turn to dust in the blink of an eye. Therefore, are you willing to participate? Given that there always was, is, and will be war. Hope stands stronger than fear, yet anything is possible when darkness lingers. It is the deflection of accountability and guilt. Yet when all seems lost, trust that the butterfly knows where the water flows.

Empire is saved, but the world is still in danger. Kairos Empire: I joined forces with my aunts to drive out the demon king, Uruk'Zu, but we lost Phoenix to his powers along the way. Falreah, the goddess of all creation, exiled me from Empire until I fix the chaos that my negligence created. Now the demon king is wearing my sister a skin suit, and he's taunting me with arson, violent attacks, and even murder in my old East Vancouver neighborhood. Things would be hard enough to handle, but I'm working side by side with Sorin Vargyr, my sacred bond-mate and the man I swore to never love. Too bad it's not working and the more I fight, the harder I fall. Sorin Vargyr: I finally escaped the prison of my remote exile and the near clutches of my wolf madness, only I found myself in a battle of wills with the most stubborn, strong, independent and completely dazzling woman I've ever met.
