"Why do you do that?" "Do what?" "Talk down on yourself. Every time you get frustrated with yourself you resort to talking bad about yourself." "Those are just the words I use." I mumbled irritated at the conversation. I didn't sign up to be judged. I have my habits and he has his. "Find different words." ****** This is a black love story about Shunt'A Bunnt. She is a full bodied young woman. Like everyone with differing characteristics, she often feels like an "other". Surrounded by people that are successfully fitting in. Years of bullying, name calling, and isolation has taken a toll on her mental state. Throughout her young adult years, she will try to teach herself grace, compassion, and self-love. In her small high school Shunt'A meets Tyrie Jones. He is charismatic, strong willed, and confident. A complete opposite of her image. Under his tough exterior, he has a damaged heart that matches her own. A heart that longs for real acceptance, like two magnets they collide. Like two moths to a flame, nature takes its course. Can they stop themselves from getting burned? Previously known as Our Thick Urban Love
