With a father in critical condition in the hospital, and a mother who disappeared one day when she was just six years old, Florida has lived a life that only seems to get worse as time goes by. To endure, she wrote letters. Lots of letters. Tons of letters to the mother she had never gotten a chance to know. For years, she would throw them down from highest building around hoping her lost mother would somehow find them. It had always been her way of coping with the brutal, painful reality, as crazy as the idea sounded. Even if it meant she would still be waiting for her mother to answer ten years later.

But when Florida takes a summer trip to India, she is taken on an unforgettable journey that may lead her into finding the happiness she never thought she would find in a world she thought she was forgotten in.
