His only friends are Amity 'Malcolm' and Shyanna Thorn. Is there any hope that he'll learn the true meaning of friendship and love?
Thirteen year-old Shyanna Thorn almost lives with her abusive father. She has a job as a baby/pet/house sitter, and usually stays in hotels to avoid her drunken father. Her mother and two brothers died years ago in a car wreak. She claims that car wreak is what gave her the many scars scattered across her body, although anyone who's met her father knows that he's the cause. Will there be any escape from her Hell?
Fourteen year-old Amity 'Malcolm' lives in an orphanage. All kids at the orphanage take the last name Malcolm, and she doesn't know her real name. Her parents abandoned her, and she's fine with that. There must've been a good reason, right? All she worries about are her friends, Shyanna and Enzo. What will happen to them? And how can she help them?
