"If you feel like you're trapped in this town, then why'd you come back?!" I scream at Jackson violently.

"Because of the Nightmares, Stiles! Because every time I closed my eyes, there were piles of dead people. Every time, I knew it was my fault. I don't want to be here. I want to run. But I can't do it alone." Jackson admits, looking utterly defeated.

I take a deep breath. "Then take me with you."

"Excuse me?"

What am I doing?!

"Take me with you. I won't talk, I won't pester you. I'll simply be there so the nightmares aren't."

"Why?"

I honestly don't know the answer myself, Jackson.

"Because... I don't know how long I can't stay here, either, but much like you..... I can't leave alone."
