Britt: A shy, 16 year old girl who thrived to have the courage to step up. She loves to sing and make music, but doesn't have the courage to show others. Love? She wants it more than anything, but doesn't have the guts to go for it.

Luke: A 17 year old guy who doesn't strive his whole life for true love, but if he has the chance to get it, he won't make himself regret it. He's always trying to be strong for others, despite what he's been through; he's the oldest of 5 foster children so it can be tough, but he does all he can.

Luke and Britt were from completely different worlds, but have some of
 the same likes and interests. Their paths didn't cross until they both attend a party and bump into each other. They didn't know it, but there was a connection between them that they would soon find the spark to.

I mentally sighed and stared at him. The person they belonged to said "Mine!!!!" and buried his head into my neck and I could feel his nose moving against my skin and my neck was met with sparks, was he SNIFFING ME?! "You motherfucker, I am not a possession and I do NOT belong to anyone. So if you could move your sexy body out of the way, I would appreciate it. Also don't sniff people you weirdo." I tried to push him away but he growled at me and held me so I couldn't move. I brought my leg up and kicked him in the family jewels. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."
