However, when they find themselves held captive by the leader of BL/Ind, Korse, they run into the Fabulous Killjoys, and become more involved in their world then they ever could have imagined.

The year is 2019, and Better Living Industries has taken over the only part of the world that survived the 2012 Great Fires: Battery City, California.
