High School Assassin : forgive and forget (#wattys2016)

Emmaline was an assassin.
Her father taught her to be one, and he was, too. He taught her to hurt, and maim, and kill. He taught her the ways of torture, how to get information out of anybody. He taught her how to defend herself, how to attack others, and how to never get caught. She grew up having three rules: Don't get caught; if you do; don't give out information; and kill every one of those badgers who captured her in the first place.

(Yes. I said badgers. I'm not a fan of cussing.)

Her father made a mistake. He got captured, didn't follow any of his own rules, and his place was raided by the cops. She took that as her time to escape, to go and live her life. She had killed, but that was in the past. When she was Emma Hoffman.
Now, she's Emmaline. Just Emmaline, a senior at Montgomery Highschool in Michigan, a quiet student with mysterious roots. She hoped all the killing was behind her- but her father escaped prison. And the bad boy at the school was unusually interested in her.
