The royal family has a dark side that no one has wanted to see. A genocide against all races aside from Hylians has come about. Trying to escape the bloodshed, Ahura runs off to the lifeless desert to spend more time with ancient relics as an archaeologist. She yearns to discover the secrets that the Gerudo hold and the man that shadows Hylian history. Unfortunately for her, this desert isn't as lifeless as she originally thought. She was arrested for trespassing on holy grounds by the bulblins. She comes to discover that the man she was studying is alive. Ganondorf comes to learn of the genocides that once wiped out his people and, with Ahura, strives to overthrow the royal family once more.

When Zelda is forced to marry a tyrant that would bring her country to ruin, she lashes out at her new husband. The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. Zelda: a woman who gets tangled with the wrong people and doesn’t know that she was kidnapped as a child and is really the true ruler of Hyrule. She has a split personality where she thinks she’s Sheik, a worrier who fights for good. Ganondorf: the ruler of Hyrule who killed the king for his throne. He knows about Zelda being the real ruler but has kept that a secret this entire time. He also knows that Link is suppose to be the hero of time but doesn’t seem threatened by a rogue troublemaker. This story takes on a whole new twist of the Legend that I created. I do not own any characters, settings, or history in this story. This is just purely a fun fan fiction of the best video game ever.
