If Kalen Brent had learned just one thing in her strive to crack the stubborn nut known as popularity, it was that girls far too often had to change themselves completely to become a somebody.

So when she's recquired to solve the mystery of this mischevious phenomena with the help of a certain Irish boy - who seems to hate her more than the food in the canteen - she realizes that these changes can be involuntary as well as they can be wanted.
