Cowardice

"I later found my desk and sat down, fingers gently touching the smooth paper I had laid out for myself yesterday evening. I was unsure of which angle I should take for this article, as I had the rare dilemma of political ambiguity."

Tristan is a colonial journalist in Boston. He seemed to live a rotary life, until one historical event turns it upside down.

(This was originally just a school project, but in true overachiever fashion I blew it up into a full blown story. Currently, only the first act is finished, but I might as well post it here. I also tried to inject as much dramatic irony into the story as possible, so there's that.)
