Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death. And woah you got your happy ending. But now let's imagine a completely different scenario where you end up in a book you read like 10 pages of (including the ending). Tom gets home to find a demon sitting in the middle of his living room, crying incoherently while petting his cat. It's only after a long and very confusing assessment as well as noticing the bandages around their jaw that he realizes the demon just had some of their teeth removed and has somehow transported itself to your home in their very loopy state. (Animal Care and Rescue) find a new group of humans wandering the ruins of a large city, they think it will be an easy capture. But they soon learn that these particular humans have more willpower than most. They dodge every trap, disappear around every bend, and even manage to take some of the already captured humans with them.
