Lila is a college student studying to become a criminal lawyer and jevon is drug dealer.
They both met each other in high school and after a year of friendship they fell inlove.
Being two teenagers from the projects, it's hard to get by,but lila managed to maintained straight A' s . By the time she was about to leave high school, Lila knew that it was impossible to go to the college of her dreams if she didn't have the money. Lila never knew her dad and her mom worked has a caregiver working a minimum wage job so she didn't have enough money to support her daughter either.
Soon after high school graduation jevon fell into the wrong crowd to make some quick money to help Lila go to college and sooner it became his career.
Lila hates gunmen, drug dealers, thieves etc once you break the law she wants nothing to do with you ,so jevon never told her that he earned money from drug dealings. Lila thinks jevons works as a dj at a night club at least that's what he told her, Lila was too busy studying that she never took the time to see what he was really up to . Lila trusted jevon he would never hide secrets from her , lie to her, or do something illegal or at least so she thought.
But dark secrets could never stay hidden forever!!
