Mac, after spending most of his life in and out of hospitals, for reasons he doesn't talk about, is finally attending a real school. The week before school starts, he sees another boy dressed in drag, and when school starts, Mac makes it his goal to befriend the kid with the same passions he has: makeup, wigs, and fashion.
