The Inuzuka's Fox

The world of Shinobi has always been guarded by the nine Bijuu after they were split into their separate forms by the Sage of Six Paths, but their powers were greatly feared. Instead of destroying them like everyone else asked, he gave nine clans in different places (soon to be the Elemental Countries) the ability to summon and control these creatures, creating some very strange Kekkei Genkai. However, since the beasts must trust and respect those that summon them, there has been no one to summon the beasts for generations.

Fearing that they could escape their ties to humanity, some of the clans are destroyed to make sure this doesn't happen, and others hunted out of their own homes. With the Akatsuki moving in the shadows and encouraging this behavior, the last of all of these lines disappears without a trace. That is, all except one. Seven year old Naruto Uzamaki-Namikaze has survived the attack on his clan, but only just. His entire family destroyed or scattered to the wind, the boy is the first to speak to the Nine-tailed fox in generations.

The boy is found and raised by the Inuzuka clan, taking him in and beginning to teach him the secrets of their own clan and help him to unlock those of his. Along side his adopted brother Kiba, he begins his quest to learn the abilities that he was born with, and those he learns from his new family. However things aren't going to be easy for the boy, and especially not when he begins to speak with the fox spirit more and more.

The Akatsuki are on the move. The Bijuu are restless. Those who can summon them are all but destroyed or scattered to the wind. But in the upcoming war, it is those that the world has so badly scorned that will determine their fates.
