The Anonymous Girl

"Whats your name?" He asked me, with a curious gaze that almost had me sucked in. Almost, being the keyword.

"My Name, huh?" I smirked at him, causing him to look at me in confusion to why the tone of my voice suggested he insulted me. I ripped my arm away from his grip in annoyance, turning away from him planning on losing him amongst all the bodies that were filing on to the dance floor.

"I'm not harming anyone am I? I'm just simply asking for your name." He shouted over the loud music pounding into my ears as I slowly walked away from 'HIM'. The prick had a lot of nerve to try to seduce me.

"My name.." I turned around and stalked back towards him a flash, surprise and amusement was clear as day in his eyes. "Honey. You don't have the right to know my name." I said, walking backwards leaving him stunned and confused.

Melissa Gunn aka 'Nerdy Mel', was seen as nothing more than a bridge used to get the "Populars" safely across the unrelenting, hectic and zombie-making river known formally as Homework, Essays, School Projects and last but not least College Entrance Exams.

Luckily for Melissa, she only had to hold out for two more weeks for Highschool to finish and she'll be moving on to greener pastures. College, a place where hopes, dreams, first loves, oppurtunities to make your mark in the world and more are created.
