Trapped

What would you do if you find out your entire life has been a lie? The feeling of being trapped, your entire life and never being able to escape. Mia is strong and courageous and she has been trapped her entire life but on the eve of her 17th birthday everything changes.

"I love you Mia." My mate stood proudly watching me lay a hand on my belly.

I walked closer to him as he spun me around hugging me from behind.
I was about to reply before another voice filled my ears.

"Beautiful isn't it?"

I turned to find the gaze of the cold blooded monster I wish I could forget.

"It's too bad you ran away Mia. Everything you now dream of will be taken from you." He smiled coldly at my belly.

"You think you're going to live long enough to birth those mutts?" He asked gazing at my stomach.

I tried growling at him, but it turned into muffles. I looked back to see my mate walk away from me with a cold dead look in his eyes.

I looked back at the once beautiful flowers, now dead in a puddle filled with blood. My vision blurred as I looked down to see the blood coming from beneath me with a pain filling my stomach.

I cried out to my mate as began to smirk while walking away leaving me with this monster.

I looked backed at him to see him smirking at my misery.

"Poor Mia, looks like he's leaving you here to die. It's a shame, knowing your mate doesn't want you. Your pups dying in your stomach."

"No! No!" I cried trying to block out his words.

"I'm coming Mia. Everything you dream of will die. The funny thing is...you're the reason why." He said while leaving.

I cried out looking at the row of dead flowers to see them being replaced with a mirror. I stare at myself looking at my once white dress covered in blood. I stare at my once joyful eyes now a hollow void.

When a voice in my head whispers.

"You're the real monster"
