"Do you not see what you've done to me?" His face was so close to mine, I could taste his breath. A heartbeat so loud, it was drumming in my own ears, unsure it was was his or mine.
"I don't understand." My brain was muddled by the closeness, his body shoved up against mine. In truth, I normally would have shoved him away, hating the contact of a man being this near, but I couldn't.
"Of course you don't. You only think I'm a man of trickery, unworthy of affection." He hissed, his very voice slithering through my core like a snake wrapping around it's prey.
"You're not." I spat, my upper lip curling in disgust at him, his emerald eyes boring into mine with an unforeseen rage and hunger.
Loki Laufeyson was not worthy.
With her mother passed and left in the care of her father, Azura is forced into a marriage with Loki, Prince of Asgard and God of Mischief. Little does this raven haired prince know, he has barked up the wrong tree and is in for a twisting surprise. One that may strike a nerve in this Mischievious man.
