Madison Paige was born with a weak heart, and doctors said she wouldn’t live to see her sixteenth birthday. She’s seventeen years old now, and after being hospitalised for months at a time, she just started going to school again. She wants to live as normal a life as she possibly can.
One day while on her way home, she sees a house she doesn’t remember being on her street, as if it had just appeared out of nowhere. Curious, she knocks on the door to see who owns the place, but no one answers. It looked old and a bit rundown, and a few rusty 'for sale' signs littered the front yard by the walkway.
Madison checked the door. It was open, so she figures if no ones living here, might as well take a look. What could it hurt right?
