"You're not even going to try and say it's not true?" He asked, tilting his head in confusion. "W-well... I-"
"So maybe you want a kiss? Or maybe a hug? Or probably someone to cry to whenever life gets too hard?" He smiled, holding his arms out to her. Nerd stared at him for a moment before bringing the book to his head with a loud SMACK. "Never in a million years will I ever want something like that." And with no other words, she turned around but was pulled in by a pair of strong arms. (y/n) held her tightly in his grasp and sighed happily. "Maybe you wouldn't but I would." He smiled again. "Then find someone else." She mumbled as (y/n) turned her around and stared deeply into her eyes. "No, I only want to do those things with you... Because I-"

"Oh," he said, as my back hit the wooden wall. Damn it, of course. With nowhere to go, his arms locked me in between him and the wall. He stared down at me as he said, "So you're trying to piss me off?" His lips were surprisingly close to mine. No guy would ever be this close to me in real life, let alone me being able to handle it; I would've been so timid and afraid. But this was the dream world. I could speak and be as brave as I wanted to. "Yeah, I am," I said. "What are you gonna do about it?" He paused as his eyes looked between the two of mine. Then, he smirked and swiftly closed the gap between our lips. ~~ In a small town in New York, Hazel is your average quiet type. In a school full of clichés, she falls perfectly under the category of "nerd" and has her own little nerdy group of people she loves to hang around. They respect the fact that she's non-verbal. The thing that plagued her, surprisingly, is not her inability and refusal to speak, but her ability to go through anybody and everybody's dreams. This is not something she can control, nor something that's necessarily dangerous. It just happens. One second she's in darkness, the next second she happens to be in someone's dream. But, when she stumbles into a dream of a guy she never knew existed in her grade of 500 students, albeit his popular status, both her worlds get flipped upside down.Complete

Frida started sketching something with her stylus, eyes flicking to her screen as she adjusted the axes of a diagram, mumbling, "...and then this boundary layer here starts behaving like a switch... not instant, but sharp. Sharp enough." Inés leaned in to see. "You mean like a Heaviside approximation?" Frida rolled her eyes, barely biting back a grin. "No. I mean like an actual boundary layer. I thought you said you weren't rusty." That earned her a low hum from Inés - amused, maybe a little provoked. "You want sharp? I'll give you sharp," she muttered, reaching for her own laptop, the tip of her manicured nail clicking a little too decisively on the trackpad. "You're missing the substructure that governs the transition here-see?" Frida glanced over. "That's an assumption, not a proof." "Do you want this to work or do you want it to be romantic?" Frida laughed - surprised and a little breathless. "God. Is that how you think I talk about math?" Inés tilted her head, lips curling. "Only when you're trying to seduce me with it." Frida blinked. Her ears went hot. "I'm not-" "Not trying?" Inés cut in, pretending to glance back at the diagram, feigning innocence, but there was no missing the gleam in her eye. "Shame. Because it's working." Frida looked away sharply, pressing her fingers to the corner of her mouth like she could keep a smile in by force. "You're infuriating." "You're distracted." "You're distracting." Inés made a quiet, pleased sound at that and sat back for a moment, the back of her hand brushing the edge of Frida's chair. "Tell me more about the way you're treating the constraint set when it fractures," she said finally, voice smooth again, back in control - or pretending to be. Frida inhaled and kept going, though her voice was slightly lower now, the words sticking a little as she spoke.Complete

However, I was clearly struggling while he looked like he was barely trying. He chuckled and parried me with ease. I slipped and nearly fell back until I felt a hand wrap around my waist. Gladio pulled me forward until I was on my feet and pressed against his hot body. "I have to admit you are pretty tough," he said seductively, "I like a woman who can take care of herself," I became flustered and quickly pushed him away, "I'm not done with you, yet!" Once I was free I summoned my sword and went to attack him while he was caught off guard, but he quickly dodged me again and this time I felt his fingers wrap tightly around my wrist. He pulled me to face him and then got close enough to me that I was leaning against the edge of the cliff. The action was so quick he might has well have slammed me into the jagged rock. As painful as it was I was distracted by him. He had my arm held up on one side of my head like he was pinning me. His other hand was placed on the cliff on the other side of my head and he leaned over above me, I was intimidated, but not out of fear. He spoke in that gruff tone again, but this time he was close enough to my ear that I could feel his warm breath as he talked, "Oh, I think you are, sweetheart."Complete
