Never in my life has my mom ever said something so horrible, so disgusting. Never in my sixteen years of living, have I heard something so awful and cruel. When Mom said those five words, I felt like my world was ending, and that my life was over. "You're going to high school." Now, I know what you're thinking. What's so bad about high school? Well, nothing if you're a normal, responsible human. But, that's just the thing. I'm not human. I'm a vampire. And, I've watched a hundred human movies to know that high school is horrible. My life has officially ended.

Two people live in two different worlds. One lives in a humble city that surrounds a tall artificial mountain. The other lives in a perfect city atop that mountain. From a young age, they have been taught that the other side was dangerous. For a young man, he was told they were synthetic monsters on top of the mountain. For a young woman, she was told dangerous beasts surrounded the mountain. When their paths cross, they will find that they both call themselves human, and they will learn to get along, even if their worlds reject them for it.

My name is Grace Shield and my life is not normal. Vampire's have been taking over the city. They murdered and drained my family's blood in front of my very eyes. They captured me and took me to their leader. Lets just say that me and the leader aren't on good terms, I despise vampires. The leader has been doing experiments on me, and he put angel blood in me. So now if I turn into a vampire, I'll be more stronger and powerful. Basically I'll be able to do anything, that's why the leader wants to marry me. And to top it off, every vampire wants me. He's gonna do a ceremony, get married to me and turn me into a vampire in front of his pack. I also found out a family secret that can help me defend myself. I thought all vampires were the same, but when I met Ethan the leaders son, I had second thoughts. Is he actually different? Or is he playing with me? It's as if just a vampire's touch can kill you. Can their love survive in a world where humans aren't the dominating species or would they die trying to protect those they love.

it practically happened overnight, one night I'm in my bed when I wake up my eyes are covered in an unusual mass and I heard unusual voices. suddenly I felt something pick me up and say: "calm down, for us you're in a high honer position." Humanity's way of life has somehow changed overnight. What was once 7.5 billion people on earth with just 6 off of the surface of the Earth is now practically all on ships orbiting the Earth. Brought there by an unusual race with seemingly good intentions. As for Nathan, like many children of his metal status and age from the looks of things; ends up placed in the care of someone on the ship and, what would be lucky for their kind, in the care of the commander of the ship he's on. But he's willing to trust something that knows his every like and dislike despite his kind nature. Will be driven mad as he tries to figure out what happened to his family, will he give in, or will that be the key to find out.

"Israel, we have to go!" I yelled. "NO!" He yelled back. "THIS IS THE CLOSEST I GOT TO MY SIBLINGS! I CANT GO BACK, NOT NOW!" Daniel is a regular teenager. He's a troublemaker. When he gets expelled from his old school, he's been sent to Star High school. But this high school isn't like any other. The students are children of angels and demons. Daniel is one of them too, but he doesn't know who. His dad has been absent most of his life. There's no pictures of him, no memories of him. When Daniell gets used to this school, everyone basically started the same way Daniel did. But they all learned how to catch up. Now, it's Daniel's turn. Everyone expects the kids to act and behave just like their parents. They're all trying, at least.

"Felix, we're moving ," she didn't say it quite like that but it was all I got from that conversation, I was shocked, and who wouldn't this so sudden I felt my whole being freeze up , how could she do this, I thought, I just started my junior year of High School and already a freak there. I already I have a hard time making friends out of people I know, the two only friends I got seemed to have abandoned me, and my mother is thinking of putting me in a new environment with bunch of strangers? Yeah let's how that pans out, "When?" that's all I could ask, I looked at her, waiting for her to reply "This weekend," she answered, she knew I was upset, I could tell by how guilty she looked, but she had already made her decision and there was nothing I could do about it.

Each helping another to survive the dangers of the what the world has become. They bond, they trust but Dream stands out from the others because she is strange and mutant-like. No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?
