"Once I dived in, I soon regretted asking to swim freestyle in the relay. I shouldn't have underestimated my opponent. As we swam to the other end, he was a couple inches ahead of me. Why couldn't I catch up to him? Wasn't I faster? Then we hit our feet against the other side of the pool, while doing a somersault in the water.
