Raven is the senior with the worst permanent record, lowest GPA in the senior class and possibly the trouble maker and has the dream to go to an Art School. Ian on the other hand, is the senior with the perfect, clean record, highest GPA, maybe even higher than Einstein if Einstein even go to High School, and is on his way to becoming a Doctor.
