"I won, so you stop." James' mouth was so close, I could feel his words in mine. "Think again, Jamesie." I raised my left hand to his throat, holding the same dagger I had knocked out of his hand before. In the middle of all the rolling around, I'd managed to catch it. A strike of luck, really. James grunted a labored sigh and inched even further towards me. "You're fucking impossible..." His eyes flicked over to my lips. I felt my stomach tingle. "You're heavy." I complained, my voice a little more than a rasp. His index finger grazed on my jaw. "You can take it." [---] My life was perfectly fine. Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...

The guardians are an ancient race that once ruled over Westeros. They were made mainly to protect, keep the peace and later on to defeat the white walkers that posed a huge threat to their country. When the Targaryens had won the Iron Throne, the tables turned on the guardians as all of them were wiped out in a matter of months. Elena Snow always thought that she was the only guardian left. It was when Ned Stark had taken her in to protect his family for the rest of her life that she found out that she was kept alive for a reason, that reason being to protect Robb Stark from the guardian they called the Dark One. So I basically wrote this book because I hate it that Robb died. I decided to add a complete new storyline to it but to also follow the original plotline. Btw, this is somewhat multifandom... Like there are characters such as Steven and Sam, Louis etc. that are from a lot of other fandoms. So expect a lot of references! I do not own the characters in this book, exept for Elena Snow (and a whole lot of others tbh, mainly the guardians). All the rights go to George R. R.
