Sequel to My Mate the Angel

Orana has a history that goes back into the B.C. years. Her great-great-great-great-great-a lot more greats grandmother was a mysterious woman who with just her voice could have any man she wanted with just a little tune of a song that was just as old as herself maybe even more ancient then her.

Her grandmother would walk the streets at night and when a man who was very attractive passed her she sang the tune oh so quiet just for that man to hear and he would turn and follow her into a dark alleyway that lead to the sea. Once there she watched it for a minute still singing the tune before stripping down and walking into the sea deep enough that the man could not she her tail. He also stripped and walked into the water before he had to float in front of her. She kept singing and he floated I front of her, mesmerized by her voice and the tune. Then she wrapped her hands around his neck and took him under the water. And no one had ever seen him again until a year later, he had appeared out of no where, naked and marked with a name across the back of his neck. It said, "Parthenope" which was the name of one of 13 daughters of Phorcys and Ceto. The name meant 'Maiden Face' and him just appearing like that meant she had claimed him as hers and whenever she sang that tune he would be back in the sea with her.

Orana's mother didn't know about the line of females in her family down to the B.C. Years being sirens so when Orana was born she never knew what was in for her daughter.
