Some years ago I had a strange morning and the only reasonable explanation I could come up with involved multiple universes and interdimensional beings. Well, reasonable for a fiction writer. The result was "An Interdimensional Day in the Neighborhood", a rough draft of which was published on my blog. Since then I've continued thinking about strange things happening to Lucy, about the return of Joe, and about Lucy's neighbors. I've been making notes, jotting down scenes and plan on doing more with these characters, gathering all of it together under the title "Suburban Strange". "An Interdimensional Day in the Neighborhood", is a complete story. I'm looking forward to continuing the strangeness with more installments in the future.

"Where are we?" She asked. Her voice was scratchy and full of cracks. How long had she been unconscious for? "Don't know. Just woke up." Came the response. He still hadn't moved, his eyes never leaving her, never blinking. Lucy shuddered as a cough raked her body. It was so cold. When Natsu and Lucy decide to go on a job to find and catch a thief, they have no idea what they are in for. When, as usual, the job ends in a disaster and they are trapped in a prison-cavern, Natsu and Lucy must face the fact that they are stuck. With no supplies to help them survive they must rely on the weekly arrival of food and water. But how long can meagre scraps support their ravaging hunger? As Natsu and Lucy's bond grows stronger and stronger, and they become weaker, Lucy must face the facts. When Lucy becomes deathly ill, the pair must find the will to survive while they hope for a shrinking chance at being rescued. Blaze White is the New Girl at the Prep school in her mothers old home town. But her only goal for senior year is to keep a low profile, no friends, no parties and NO boys. Axel may be adored and worshipped by his peer-but he hates people, except 5. So when a beautiful but closed off girl suddenly enters his group. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. This is the sequel to, "Our Existence is Forbidden." So I run. My magic energy is so damn low but I have to do this. "Hurry!" "I know dammit!" I groan. The sun begins to rise above the horizon. "I need more time you stupid sun!" I yell. I reach the top of the hill and begin to place them around each white gem, the sun rising and rising. "13th in the middle." "Ok ok ok ok.." I say as I place it in the middle. "Your blood needs to make a circle around it." The sun was getting higher. "The sun is rising!" Gray calls out. "I KNOW. I CAN SEE!" Natsu Dragneel is living the good life. With a nice job and a good reputation, he feels amazing and wants to live to the fullest. But, one day these 2 cross paths. Lucy walks in the center of the street and lies down. As Natsu takes his morning stroll, he can't help but see the girl laying in the street, ready to die. So, he decides to do something about it. He yells constantly at the girl in the street. She sits up and gazes at him. Then a big truck decides to head right down the street. "Move!" Natsu yells. But it's already to late. Lucy wakes up in a hospital. Only, no sound waves are vibrating in her ears. She's deaf, and the pink-haired guy sitting to her right saved her.
