There is a legend. No one knows quite where it started, or when. It is widely known, the legend of something you only see when it kills you. "Now you see me. Now you don't." People live in fear of it, and one wants to uncover the truth about it.
Jeremy Daxon has never been superstitious and doesn't think this legend could possibly be real. He sets out to finally "see" this legend and won't give up until he does.
