Can You Hear Me? describes, briefly, what it is like in the mind of someone who is depressed. This does not describe every case but, this story was written about a few of my experiences.
The narrator in the story is what I call the "rational" me. She knows what is going on in our world; she is in the mind of a depressed person. She doesn't have depression, but it is almost like she has the cure for it. The only problem is the "irrational" me (in other words, the "physical" me) doesn't acknowledge her; doesn't hear her.
Can You Hear Me? is a political memoir that I wrote for my English Composition I class. I was to write it no more than four pages long so it is a short story. I am having ideas about making it a longer story but, we will see.
Can You Here Me? No, I can't.
