She gripped my shoulders firmly and apologized for the small fight we had had earlier. What struck me as odd was the fact that she was so...sincere about it. The way her eyes pierced through mine and for the first time in a long while to come, I forgave her for that insignificant occurrence. Although I didn't think much of it at that time, as I truly should have, the following day I found her sleeping the sleep one does not awake from.
