Josie had it all sorted out. Everything that happened in her life, happened due to a strict plan. There was no space for the Unforeseen, especially not in her vocabulary. 

Working a fulfilling career in a day-care center, she'd been saving all her money the past few years for her future with Dominic. Their relationship was just as ordinary as her life, part and parcel of her daily routine. 

But when Dominic leaves her out of the blue, none of Josie's plans seem to work out anymore. The future that has been planned in the minutest details is suddenly replaced by a blank space.
