Caroline and Harley are newly married. Nothing can stop them from the thrill of buying a new home and establishing roots as they grow a family. Well except for the fact that Harley got deployed two days after his honeymoon. They make it work and promise to write everyday. A month into a year deployment Caroline gets devastating news, her husband is missing in action.

Five years and a son later Caroline still holds out hope that her missing husband will return home, but everyone around her is telling her to move on with her life.
