A look inside my heart, soul and brain as I loved.

I dedicated the title of this book to Olivia (olive) the best cat a person could ask for. I felt she deserved it because every time I felt myself falling back into darkness her pure innocence and love always brought me back, always got me up and always helped me out. I hope you enjoy my poems and my few of many amazing pictures of my day one model.

After losing her job and her girlfriend, it's time for Annie Abraham to admit defeat and move back in with her parents. She has hardly been back to her tiny Montana hometown since the unforgettable summer before her senior year of college, when she agreed to babysit for Laurel Jacobs. Annie didn't expect to fall in love back then, and she never thought that after all this time she'd still be in love with the woman she walked away from when she was twenty-one. Laurel Jacobs has never gotten over Annie Abraham. It's been almost a decade since their fling and she can't move on. She has her kids to think about - at least, she tells herself that's why she hasn't been on a single date since Annie left. Her life was different back then: when they met, she was in the middle of a divorce with two young kids and no idea how the future looked. Now she owns a bookstore, her kids are growing up, and she's too busy for romance. Annie thought she would have more time to settle back into life in Deer Pines before being confronted by the love of her life, but she's not that lucky. After all this time, she's back for good and Laurel is the first person she sees, when she has just spent seventeen hours on a train and she's desperately in need of caffeine. It's the first time they've seen each other in eight years and it isn't long before all those old feelings come rushing back to the surface. They weren't buried as deep as they thought they were. A lot has changed since they last saw each other, more than either of them realize, but life hands out second chances for a reason. The first time they fell in love, the timing was wrong. Now's their chance to make it right. © Elle Carrigan 2023

~*~*~ I'm Enoch O'Connor. My peculiarity is to rise the dead, I'm as cold as the dead things I rise. Yes, I'm a Necromancer. I live in a loop with other peculiar children. Our loop is September 3,1943. There's a girl in this loop who is the only one close to me. For all the years staying in the loop with her, I realized one day I fallen in love with her. But, she's the exact opposite of me. Her name is Olive Abroholos Elephanta. She always smiles at everyone and is always nice. While I'm rude all the time. She has a firey red hair. She's a Pyromancer. She's as warm as the fire she controls. Her eyes are the amazing shade of green. She's always playing with the young kid here, sing to them, tell them stories and tuck them to sleep. Olive, you're the opposite of me, and I can't help but think, like fire and ice combining, it will be impossible for Olive to like me back. It would take years, decades, probably a century, or even more, but it would stay like that. I have a heart that is as cold as ice, while she have a warm heart. Olive, you're the fire and I'm the ice. I wish you would just realize. ~*~*~ "If you just realize what I just realize, Then we'd be perfect for each other, And we'll never find another." ~Colbie Caillat ~*~*~
