"Awake."
"Huh? What the hell was that noise", my eyes shot open, an overly fluorescent light starting back at me. I had to shut my eyes again to make sure I didn't go blind. As I started blinking and my eyes started adjusting I noticed the smell of rubbing alcohol, like the one you smell at the doctors, which explains a lot seeing as I was in a hospital bed. I looked around, it was a rather large hospital room with a window that now showed nothing but darkness behind the blinds. There was one of those tables with wheels on my right, and a plant to my left. There was a nice chair next to it probably used to look out the window. On the other side was a door that probably led to the bathroom. The room was light blue and the floors were all in beige colored tiles. I noticed there was a white board in front of me with only one word inscribed on it. Awake.
