Kyoya Ootori and Mitsuki Takahiro. They've been best friends from birth until Kyoya had to move after 2nd grade. They promised that they would always keep in touch and Kyoya gave Mitsuki a diamond butterfly brooch to honor their promise. Shortly after arriving to their new home Kyoya and his mom take a walk when a hit and run driver kills his mom. In the accident Kyoya was hit by a bat and wakes up in a hospital bed surrounded by his family wondering why he's there and where his mom is. What will happen 10 years later when the two childhood friends meet again? How will Kyoya, with no memory of his childhood, face a Mitsuki who has hardened her heart against the friend who she believes betrayed her? And what will happen when she makes an offer she knows he can't refuse?
