Takao Hara can't remember anything that's happened to him. 

It's been a year since the accident, but the only reminder he has of his past is a piercing pain in his right ear and a scream. He hasn't let it bother him and has moved on with his life for the most part. 

However his otherwise normal life is turned upside down as he and seven other kids are thrown head-first into an adventure none of them could have bargained for, leading them on a dangerous path to saving the world and possibly regaining Takao's memories.
