Hope. Despair. One cannot exist without the other. Hope is born from despair and despair creeps in when your hopes are crushed. You can't destroy them, only absorb and adapt to them. The Remnants of Despair. Inflicting despair across the globe was their goal before Future Foundation stopped them. I've never wanted anything to do with hope or despair. But embracing despair makes me able to receive his love. We were never meant to be, I knew that from the start. But I was deeply in love with him and I fell into that illusion. If I became Despair itself and conquered it, I would become Hope itself and he would truly, unconditionally love me like I loved him. I just wanted someone to love me. And I willing to go far enough to drown in his lies and become a Remnant of Despair.
