There is a mansion located in Northern Germany. The mansion was owned by the Drevis family. There use to be Monika, Alfred and the two's little daughter, Aya. The loved each other very much. Though one day, Monika passed away from an illness. Though, little Aya never saw her mother die. 
  
  One year later, Aya soon to be 11, and her father continue to live on. Though her father is locked up in the basement all the time, Aya feigned ignorance about what her father was doing behind the locked door. 
  
  One night, just before the anniversary of her mother's death. Aya wakes up to the horrifying sound of screams, her father's screams. She runs out of her room to find in to only be approached by to things... Her father's victims have come back for revenge. Horrified, Aya decides to save her father. Unraveling the true reasons for her father's experiments, all while avoiding death herself. Little Aya realizes that she must question the love for her parents.

Antique store owner Liz brings home a Victorian taxidermy hound from auction, unwittingly unleashing dark forces on her wife and son. ***** Nat Loman has finally married the love of her life, Liz, and is getting used to her role as stepmother to Liz's 5-year-old son, Liam. The Loman family runs a bustling antique business so they attend a sale where a striking, black taxidermied hound is up for auction. Liz picks it up for the business, but it ends up being stored in their home, where Nat notices strange things occurring. She quickly discovers the past residents had died violently. Then she hears from a friend about the myth of "the devil's dog", a hound that perches in the shadows, tearing families apart from the inside. Soon, people around the Lomans are dying, and Liz is changing, darkening. It's up to Nat to save the woman she loves from the darkness closing in, and to save Liam from danger no matter what she has to sacrifice.
