At the age of four Y/n was taken by a Shadow fury to the Dragon Sanctuary where she discovered she could understand dragons.
From then on she would be raised by dragons. A year later, Valka was brought to the Sanctuary by Cloudjumper.
Valka then helped raise Y/n while learning how to train, fly, protect, and live with dragons.
There will be no romance in this story. Based before and during a very twisted (not dark) version of Httyd 2.

Until one day, he finds himself stuck on Berk. Discoveries are made, new friends are found, and Hiccup's life changes significantly. Will he go back home to the ice sanctuary and forget about Berk?
