A select few can harness the power within their minds. They are called Users.

From an early age, Kry Ensis has experienced severe headaches--the cause unknown. They have grown stronger as he struggles to find a job after graduation. His life is further complicated by the appearance of a mysterious mute boy who is looking for his father. There is also something else which disturbs him: strange dreams which almost feel as if they are real. 

Kry finally finds success when he is hired by Bellum, a company known for weapons development, but it is soon apparent that Bellum is not what it appears to be. It's not until he meets a stranger with supernatural abilities that Kry then learns the truth about the origin of his headaches and who he really is. 

But Kry's fate is linked to a young woman whom he has yet to meet. She hunts for the people who killed her mother, but it is she who is the one being hunted. 

The Ascended Series is a story of power, redemption and the meaning of friendship.
