My name is Mason Lux, and I'm the 'gay best friend' of the queen bee of high school, Gabriella Grace, aka Gabby. Along with our other best friend Emily, we are called the GEM(s), the s is silent. Rulers of the school through gossip and drama, we are either adored and hated, there is no in between.
While being popular is fun and all, there's something that it doesn't bring you, love - at least for me. Gabby on the other hand could get a boyfriend with the snap of her fingers, and the same goes for Emily. My love life is as dry as the Sahara, and I'm a little bitter about it.
Until one day, Caspian Rose, the most attractive jock in this whole damn school, comes up to me. Never did I think the day would come where I'd talk to him, is this one of my dreams or fantasies?
