Adalin had never felt at home. She never felt secure, like everyone at school, in town, in her neighborhood, or pretty much anywhere else. How do they stay so calm? Why do they ignore everything?
After being trailed into the woods by what looked like a shadow person, her life suddenly turned upside-down.
She wakes up as a wolf, or a half-primal, as her adoptive pack calls her. The way of life was simple for her pack: Hunt for the she-wolves, keep an eye out for the pups, and travel far to claim unseen territory. The way of life for Adalin was finally simple, and calming. But something in her told herself that it was more than just this. Something more complicated than her human life alone.

Within a heavily stratified, hierarchical wolf pack, one would not expect a simple hunter wolf to be concerned with a looming war abroad or even a local insurrectionist conflict. The life of a hunter was saddled with other imminent dangers that preoccupied this critically important, yet wholly unappreciated caste within the pack. ROWEN is one such wolf. Initially concerned only with feeding himself and his pack, an unlikely friendship with the pack's alpha-to-be has set Rowen on a path to become something much more. Now thrust into a new station as a border guard, Rowen must now participate in the pack's first line of defense along an area that is poorly patrolled and discreet - a perfect setting for an enemy contingent to slip by. A straightforward enough task quickly becomes complicated as Rowen meets a wolf along the border who has been harassed ceaselessly by his pack and merely wishes to live her life in peace. As her origins become clearer over time - and as they grow closer - Rowen must reassess his loyalties and his desires in life, for their association may well exist as a contradiction to his assigned tasks. One well-intentioned decision to keep a secret may lead to another, and a fateful meeting with a spiritual being may further complicate things as Rowen learns that history might not be what it seems. Will Rowen be successful in navigating the turbulence of his time without forsaking one loyalty for another? Will he emerge from these hardships unscathed, or will he be a changed wolf, for better or worse? WOLF BORN LYCAN 2 (A LITTLE WILD) (COMPLETE)

18 parts Complete

Coy didn't know the difference between herself and her pack members. As far as she was concerned they were the same, they were family. She had always been a part of the pack for as long as she could remembered. There were times when she felt different but those moments were few and quick to pass. Then along came the strange wolf that was even bigger than she was. He smelled of the forest, humans and wolves. He moved in a way that intrigued her even though all the wolves in her pack moved just as beautifully. She was so drawn to him that she refused to allow the pack to attack him. But how could she get the pack to accept him when he was clearly so different from them? How could she get him to accept her pack when he didn't seem to want to even be there? Hours, days, weeks. Bentley didn't like the idea of a wolf born mate, a wolf that couldn't shift. He was a shifter. He wanted a shifter mate, not that he ever thought about it until now. Still, he was taught the Creator didn't make mistakes. So, he had to step up and get to know this wolf. He stayed, stealing the moments and glances he could. When he found out the wolf couldn't be his mate he still couldn't make himself drive away. He didn't know what the attachment between them was but it was undeniably an connection. He needed to find the reason for the bond.
