New York City - Manhattan - Upper East Side - 2013 After Aliena de Villiers has painfully lost her mother she moved from a quiet smalltown in Ohio to the centre of Manhattan's Upper East Side where her biological father was living. Six years have past since then and Ally still didn't feel welcome in the fancy and rich social environment her father had pushed her into. Even though she tried her hardest to accomodate to the situation she keeps finding herself sad and lonely, wishing to be the shy little girl she was back in Ohio. Ally loves relaxing at home and prefers a night in front of the TV rather than spending it with friends she didn't have. Only Chuck, a guy who had been there for her the first day of her new life, understood Aliena and became the brother she never had. Being around him wasn't always pleasent though because Chuck's friends, the popular gang of their school, kept giving Ally a hard time. As if dealing with this wasn't already enough, Aliena keeps finding herself in mysterious accidents and encounters things that shouldn't be exisiting in a rational world. What Ally doesn't know in the beginning is that there is a group of people who take huge interest in her and her abilities. Ally soon has to realise that she will never ever be the shy little girl and has to face an enemy she wasn't prepared for. Will she succeed or will she fail?
