Lynn had been a vampire for two months when Farron showed up. Those two months had been spent agonizing in a cave trying not to kill anyone. Lynn had never expected to be hurled into a world of vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, Fae, and so on, but suddenly there's a whole other side of life than she ever expected. Farron, her first "friend" (if friend can mean someone who is only ever hostile), has a brother- a brother possessed by a demon- and needs Lynn's help to save him. Joined by an unfairly hot female werewolf named Shea and a judgmental witch named Dakota, the group sets out to find Gilder, the Black Witch of Montana, in hopes of saving Farron's brother from an ancient demon; but what will happen to Lynn? Will she be able to fit in with the odd group? Will she have to run away again? And what happens when she suddenly develops feelings for Farron?
In a novel with an awkward new vampire, a grumpy and blunt werewolf, a surprisingly sweet (if a little superficial) werewolf girl, a hipster witch, and a sad boy with pretty eyes and a demon trying to devour his soul, you'll find humor, romance, adventure, and probably far too much darkness and angst. But if you're into that sort of thing, you might actually like this.

The Other Side of the Lie (EDITING, ON HOLD)
What if humans lived alongside witches, vampires, fey, and werewolves? Yeah, they don't though. They're divided into Factiones (no, that isn't a typo, go away Grammarly) by a starburst mountain range that is actually new, relative to the rest of the geology. Then someone dies. Of course. Not original is it? I suppose there's a good reason it always starts with someone dying. Well, being murdered in this particular case. I know, also not very original. But please, bear with me. Basically, the people in power are insane and dangerous. (There are really too many clichΓ©s here, aren't there?) And our not-so-normal band of motley heroes have to stop these crazy people. I understand that this is more or less the same plot line as 17% (minimum) of all books on the planet, but seriously, if you want to have a 12-year-old (almost) burn down/melt half a castle, this is your book. Be patient though, because it might take you a bit to get there. Enjoy! 1st completed book!!!!!! (I haven't edited it yet though, so if it seems a little rough it's normal. But, as some of her friends know, the price of that one memory might be set higher than she is willing to pay. (There are some ethically interesting choices from the main characters, thus the mature rating. But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. I feel this should be highlighted, for while inspiration is always tied to the outer world, imagination composes a story out of it and colors the outcome with dreams and nightmares.)
