Life as everyone knew it changed many years ago. When the supernatural revealed themselves to the human race and over-powered us. There is no safe place for us humans so we run hoping to never get caught. Most of us become slaves to the supernatural or we become their mates. We are nothing but scum to the supernatural. At least that's what we were raised to believe.
When a young women is trained to fight and survive what will come of her when she is captured. Being captured is the most terrible thing that could happen to her. She's a warrior and being incaged is not something she can tolerate, but when she finally meets the man who issued the order for her capture. She realizes that she's in even more trouble then she could imagine.
The man who wanted her captured is the most feared in the entire world nobody disobeys him and nobody questions him. He is the leader of all even the leader of the other leaders. That is how powerful this man is. Why did he want this specific women? She will soon find out.

Also it's not just any ordinary vampire or werewolf story it has many different supernatural beings. It's something new and not the same old stuff so hopefully it will be good.~

My Last Breath (Book one of The Portal Series)
BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.Complete

What if humans lived alongside witches, vampires, fey, and werewolves? Yeah, they don't though. They're divided into Factiones (no, that isn't a typo, go away Grammarly) by a starburst mountain range that is actually new, relative to the rest of the geology. Then someone dies. Of course. Not original is it? I suppose there's a good reason it always starts with someone dying. Well, being murdered in this particular case. I know, also not very original. But please, bear with me. Basically, the people in power are insane and dangerous. (There are really too many clichés here, aren't there?) And our not-so-normal band of motley heroes have to stop these crazy people. I understand that this is more or less the same plot line as 17% (minimum) of all books on the planet, but seriously, if you want to have a 12-year-old (almost) burn down/melt half a castle, this is your book. Ten years ago every creature, myth, and legend that you can think of, and some you have never heard of, decided to stop hiding and started attacking people. Out of theses attacks the families that have hunted these creatures for centuries in secret decide to make themselves know as well becoming there own judge, jury and executioner under the name of the Creature Hunter Association (CHA for short) Enter Katrina (Kat) Lovedock, a member of the Lovedock hunter family one of the best and well known hunter families to ever patrol the streets. Unfortunately, Kat is not technically a member having been disowned after one horrible night that changed her life, in more ways then one. 5 years after that night she still has all her training that her father taught her and uses those skills to hunt down dangerous creatures while also being hunted herself.
